Bringing rheumatoid arthritis to life, we designed an interactive Kinect experience that educates visitors through movement, highlighting affected joints and sharing key insights about the condition and its treatment
Exciting Demonstration
Rheumatoid arthritis is a complex, long-term autoimmune disease. We were asked to demonstrate the key symptoms and provide background information to exhibition booth visitors in an easy to understand, captivating way. We created a Kinect application running on a vertical screen that acts as a “mirror”. When players stand in front of the screen and move their body, the skeleton on screen mimicks their movement and highlights affected joints. The application then displays relevant information about RA and possible therapy.
